Black & White Film Photography Part 2

October 22 - November 26, 2025

Expand and refine your film photography and darkroom skills. In this 6-week class you can pick up where you left off in our original film photography class or your previous college or high school darkroom class. We will review basic darkroom procedures and add more advanced techniques such as contrast filters and dodging and burning. We’ll also discuss alternative printing processes and larger formats beyond 35mm. Build on what you know and get inspired!

You can print from existing negatives you might have or shoot new images and print those.

Our darkroom can accommodate 35mm, 120 and 4x5 formats.

*Prior darkroom experience is needed, either our Black & White Film class or other experience. If you have questions, please get in touch!

~Materials included: 2 rolls of Ilford HP5 film and one 25 sheet pack of Ilford paper. You are welcome to shoot and print as much as you like, and we can recommend more films and papers.

~If you need to borrow a 35mm SLR for class, just let us know. There is no additional cost.
