Creative Editing for Portraits using Photoshop

In this workshop Peggy Farren of Understand Photography will show us several of the techniques she uses in Photoshop to take a "nice" picture to an artistic masterpiece. You'll learn about:

Adding textures, layers, use layer masks, blending modes, and how to achieve an artistic portrait look.
Add sun flares, fog and other elements to truly create a beautiful and artistic portrait.

Children and Portrait photographers ~ this workshop will help you differentiate your work from everyone else's out there!

You can follow along and create your masterpiece on your own laptop.

Prerequisite -  You must have a foundation in Photoshop for a successful learning experience. This is not a beginner workshop.

What to bring:

-Any pictures you would like to work on (pictures from August 4 portrait workshop suggested).
-Card reader
-Laptop or desktop with Photoshop loaded and tested before you come to class.
-Wacom tablet (optional but helpful)
If you don't have a wacom, please bring a mouse. If you are editing on a trackpad, you probably don't have the experience needed for this workshop. This is for intermediate to advanced Photoshop or Elements users.
