Photogram Workshop for Teens & Pre-teens

June 8, 12-2pm & 2-4pm

Teens and preteens 12-17 can dip their toes into the waters of the darkroom with a workshop on creating photograms. Photograms are camera-less images made by exposing objects of all sorts directly onto photographic paper. A great practice in composition and exposure, and an intro into darkroom work!

We will have all kinds of interesting small objects to work with, but please bring your own if you have an idea you’d like to try. Think about shapes and opacity as you choose. Some fun ones are ~

Fabric/lace, leaves, flowers, newsprint, metallic objects like silverware and jewelry, glasses, just about anything in your pocket!

Taught by Frank Jackowiak

Two sessions to choose from (6 students per class):

Saturday afternoon, 12:00-2:00pm, $35

Saturday afternoon, 2:30-4:30pm, $45
