The Master’s Eye (Online)

Each week we’ll explore a new master photographer and their unique contribution to the history of photography from the comfort of home. Learn their biography, technique, and how they fit into photo history. Each lesson will include a “homework” assignment to make a photo in their style. Get inspired, try out new subjects and techniques, and get feedback with weekly critiques.

Possible photographers include Ernst Haas, Imogen Cunningham, Harry Callahan, Roy DeCarava, Sally Mann, Joel Meyerowitz, Andre Kertesz, William Christenberry, Diane Arbus, Richard Avedon, Aaron Siskind, Yousef Karsh, Arnold Newman and more!

This class is open to all levels, but an understanding of photo basics is recommended.

Class will take place online as an interactive video meeting via Webex.
