Intro to Lightroom Classic Part 2 - Masking Tools

October 23 - November 13, 2025

In this 4 week follow up to our Intro to Lightroom Classic class, we will dive into Lightroom’s powerful Masking Tools. These tools allow you to isolate specific areas of an image and apply edits only to those areas. 

Learn how to select a subject, sky, background, landscape, object, or people, and practice using brushes, and linear/radial gradients. The goal of this class is to fine tune your editing using all of the precision Masking Tools Lightroom offers!

*Intro to Lightroom Classic Part 1 is not required, but you must feel comfortable importing/exporting your photos and making global edits (edits that apply to the entire image) using the Basic Panel. If you’re not sure, please get in touch!

What to bring: Laptop computer with a current version of Lightroom Classic (Version 14.4)

MAC OS: Operating System: Mac OS Monterey (Ver 12.0) or later Processor: Multicore Intel processor (2GB or faster, or Apple Silicon processor RAM: Minimum 8GB, Recommended 16GB or more Hard Disc Space: 4GB or more for installation
